1969 Dodge Super Bee A12, M code,   A truly beautiful 1969-1/2 “M” code DODGE SUPER BEE, numbers matching, 440 six pack,390 horsepower, A-727 automatic transmission and 9 ¾ inch 4.10 Dana rear end. True M code, power steering, a perfect original factory lift off hood, factory H code steel wheels complete with redline tires. Original equipment throughout like its original numbers matching radiator.  This unit runs and handles as if it had just rolled off of the showroom floor.  New stainless exhaust with the correct H pipe. The undercarriage was restored to factory original and nicely detailed original spec suspension.  Also, the underbelly was completely blasted and primed like factory and then treated the original colour overspray. The interior in its original black is immaculate. The gauges and bezels including the tic-toc clock have been restored and everything is fully functional. The body and all panels are super straight and the entire car can stand up to close inspection with no surprises. The car is finished in its original V2 code Hemi Orange which suits the car’s outstanding character to a tee. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with the correct Edelbrock manifold and 3 -2 barrel carburetors 500/350/500 cfm from front to back. 1969 Dodge Coronet Superbee. 383 ci Magnum engine- 833 four speed-323:1 positraction differential-14 inch Magnum wheels-newer BFG tires-glass is original Chrysler-matching numbers. Miles are not verifiable. Overhauled transmission appx 10k ago. New front brake shoes. drums, hubs, and brake hoses. New rear wheel cylinders. Front steering idler arm amd lower ball joints have been replaced. Has been very dependable and well-cared for.

1969 ½ Dodge 440 6 Pack Super Bee

These 69 ½ cars were the brain child of a very Ram-Charger Dodge man. He wanted to build a car that was distinctive, extremely fast but also inexpensive. That is why there is a no non-sense interior in the car with no frills. It also came with no hub caps. This was also what kids did to these cars back then.

These bad boys were times in several magazines with faster times than the comparable Hemi. This car bring a 2 door post cat is the most desirable of all these cars because it was lighter but structurally stinger as a result of the 2 door post configuration. These cars came with a specially built 440 engine with 3 2 bbl. Carbs; hence the name 6 PACK, The 4-speed transmission was the same used in the Hemi for the utmost durability. All the cars came with a DANA rear end sporting 4:10 gears. The suspension was the Police suspension with heavy duty everything. The radiator was a special unit made to keep the car cool. The whole package was made with only one thing in mind and that was to go very fast at a nominal cost.

There was only 267 of the two door Post cars made with 4-speed transmissions. The serial number on this car is WM21M9A246825. A really nice option on this car is power steering. Believe it or not, some cars did not come with it and it is like wrestling with a Gorilla trying to get it to turn at low speed if there is no power steering.

This particular car does not have a broadcast sheet or a fender tag, so please do not ask me if it does. As a result, the price is lower than cars that have them. It is, however, in the A-12 registry an also is known by Galen Govier. There is traceability on the mileage with copies of two car titles that this car HAS. The mileage is only 52,000 and according to the two titles we have, this is true. One of the owners owned this car for 23 years and had it mostly inside in storage during his ownership. During that time he only put 3,500 miles on it. There is ownership history back to the 70’s and title history back to the 80’s. The engine and transmission are 1969 and are matching to each other, but are not original to this car.

The car has been painted only one time that we know of and the interior appears to be in very good original condition. It would not take much in my opinion to easily take this car to another level which would of course make it worth quite a bit more money. I love cars in this condition as they beg to be driven and you can do this without fear of hurting something. This car is car # 263 in the A-12 registry and was one of the first 100 of these cars built.

The last owner of this car did not drive it much so a great number of items suffered as a result of that. The gentleman that I selling this car for re-built all the suspension and also the brake systems so the car would behave correctly. He just recently rebuilt the engine so whomever buys this car should have a very reliable car to play with. I have receipts for the work on all these items. I have driven this car quite a lot and it drives just you would want it to and when you kick in the 3 x 2’s …HOLD ON!! It is very fast!!

This is an original 440 Six Pack 4-Speed car with correct date coded engine and numbers matching original 18 spline "Hemi" transmission and Dana 60 rear end. I am the second owner having bought the car in March 1978, with less than 38K miles at that time. The original motor was replaced 9/2/70 at 9350 miles per the 1st owner and documented in the owners manual by him. A rotisserie restoration was completed in 2000 and driven less than 200 miles since. Paint was professionally freshened and buffed in 2013. Carbs professionally rebuilt in 2013. All dash guages calibrated with new circuit board and voltage stabilizer in 2013. Repo 15" Magnum 500 wheels.

The Mopar that dominated the streets, this Superbee was built and intended for one thing..."drag racing."  Restored in 2000 by a retired teacher from northern Maine who has a passion for Mopars, restored this rare example from the ground up, while maintaining it's factory appearance with no modifications, has only been driven approx. 800 miles since.  Driven to local car shows, this, Superbee has won 1st place trophies every where it went.  Production of these factory built race cars were only 1,487, 826 w/4spd., 661 were automatic.  Rebuilt correct date coded 440 engine, not orig. engine, however cast 2536480-8 dated Nov. 3, 1968.  906 high compression cast iron cylinder heads, correct Edelbrock alum intake with 3 two barrel Holley carbs, factory style exhaust manifolds with OEM style dual mufflers with the correct chrome tip extension.  Dual point distributor, date code spark plug wires, correct Mopar belts & hoses with orig. style clamps, restored orig. radiator part #2949054, correct 6 pack radiator shroud, fan and clutch.  The car is equipped wit PS, manual drum brakes, restored 3 spd. wipers, other orig. items are:  very expensive orig. metal 6 pack air cleaner element with orig. style air filter.  Correct idle solenoid, Mopar coil, washer bottle w/washer pump and squirter.  The engine bay is nicely detailed, new engine bay wiring harness, solid inner fender aprons, firewall refinished in vibrant Red finish and just as nice as the exterior finish.  The front radiator support has the correct blk over spray and the vin # appears on the section between the radiator. The exhaust manifolds could use some refinishing in the powder coat system.  Original fender tag has some slight rust, but legible.  A new reproduction tag is also included with the car.  Reproduction Six Pack hood that fits great.  Metal hood props, hood pin tie downs riveted to the hood plates that are not scratched or worn.  The over all appearance of the engine compartment is very good, only needs minor detailing to bring it to show quality.  Complete overhaul of the engine, while the car was being restored.  The exterior body and paint has countless hours of labor comprised to achieve the straight body and exceptionally nice paint with no flaws noticed.  Restored bright work and stainless, polished and looks fantastic.  White vinyl Bumble bee tail stripe.  Doors that open and close with ease.  High attention to detail in the door, trunk and fender jamb areas.  Complete new weather strip kit, window felts, quarter vent rubbers, excellent chrome on the vent windows, stainless roof drip rail, driver's side remote mirror, new wheel opening mouldings, orig. 15" H steel style wheels with Coker Classic red line P225/75 R15" radial tires.  Original glass with the exception of replacement windshield.  The bumpers are re chromed to show quality, restored orig. front grille, refinished turn signal lenses, orig. side marker lenses are in fantastic shape.  GE head lamp bulbs, new door handles, door locks with new gaskets, keys work and lock both doors.  The car has the correct style radio antenna, rear bumper guards, orig. tail light bezels and the chrome trim is in excellent shape.  Looking in the trunk, the car has its original trunk pan with factory spot welds, full size H wheel spare tire, orig. jack, new reproduction trunk mat.  The under side of the trunk has a beautifully restored appearance with new jacking instructions and crayon markings, G70x15 as the factory would have done.  Restored trunk and striker with the correct finish.  Looking at the interior of this A-12 Six pack car, you'll notice the car shows like a freshly restored car.  New seat covers, door panels, carpet, headliner, dash pad, factory seat belts, arm rest pads and bases, new chrome, plastic chrome on the switches, restored quartz clock, am radio, factory tach, all the gauges work.  Aftermarket single oil pressure gauge neatly installed under the dash.  Custom embroidered Super bee floor mats, restored shoulder belts, new sill plates and glove box liner, restored ash tray with working cigarette lighter, brake and e-brake pedals, the steering wheel is an original 3 spoke sport imitation wood steering wheel that has been repaired in one area, yet has 2 small cracks in the wheel.  New rear pkg. tray.  The interior is very comfortable and is in A-1 condition.  Colum shift automatic with 6 passenger seating for the entire family!  Checking out the underside of this Mopar...it has a factory or dealer installed undercoating that is hard as a rock!  Appears to have all its original floor pans, with one tiny repair by the gas pedal right where your heel would rest, but looks great.  All new front end components, shocks, brake and fuel lines, reconditioned orig. gas tank, completely overhauled brake system, e-brake cables etc.  Ball joints, tie rod ends, center link, sway bars bushings are all new.  Only word describes this A-12 Six Pack..."awesome!"  Comes with an orig. 1969 Dodge Super Bee, 2 DR. HT,  This car is a #s matching engine car, I have the origianl bill of sale as it is a Georgia car from Marietta Dodge and the buld sheet.  It has virgin 1/4 panels and the trunk floor was replaced along with 2 floor patch panels in 1994. The car is its original color Y2 yellow, was repainted in 1994. It is a 383/335 HP #s matching engine, it does not have the original trans case which was replaced. The interior is in excellent condition, the dash and the gauges have been re-done - head lner is new but needs to be restretched along with a new inside rear windshield trim pieces which I have. It has a Sony sound system in it and I have the original thumbwheel wich goes with the sale of the car. The engine has been bored .030 over and has all new components in the valve train, Camshaft, Valves, Lifters, Guides, Gaskets, Oil Pump, reconditioned rods, new pistons. . The trasmission has been rebuilt and it has a new torque converter also. Car has the original Ramcharger hood and induction system. It has LED dash bulbs and a blue wire kit in the gauges. Rear end is an 8 3/4 with a 3.23 posi in it,  Wheels are all original with the factory brushed SS trim rings, it has BF Goodrich tires, new HD torsion bars, original recored Tank style radiator, and an electronic ignition system. It has all new brake components and drums front and rear, all the front end components, ball joints, tie rod ends are also new. Check out this Mopar! This 1970 Dodge Super Bee will really grab you. It has the wild look of a vintage Mopar, but is also a solid rust-free car that runs excellent and is a blast to drive.

To begin, this is a real WM23 Super Bee. It is an excellent rust free example with solid floors, trunk, frame sections, and spring mounts. Originally red with a white vinyl top and stripes, it has been repainted Plum Crazy and looks fantastic! The top is in excellent condition as are all trim and moldings, including the working fender turn signals. The Weld Prostar wheels are a great complement to the car along with the BF Goodrich tires (235 front, 275 rear). Note the front torsion bars have been cranked down a bit to give the car a mean looking stance.

This is an N-code 383 cubic inch 4-barrel car with a heavy duty 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. It runs excellent with a recently rebuilt carburetor along with new plugs and wires. The power steering has been upgraded with a Firm Feel Stage 2 box for a nice driving experience. The car has a nice factory look under the hood including the air cleaner, valve covers, and exhaust manifolds. There are also power disc brakes in front for superior stopping ability. Note too the cruise control!

The interior retains its original configuration including a white bench seat that is in very good condition, as are the carpeting and headliner. The dash looks great and has the full complement of gauges including a tachometer. This is augmented by a modern oil pressure gauge under the dash for more accurate readings. This Bee is originally an air conditioned car with all components present and installed, though the system is not charged.

The 1970 Super Bee is one of the most distinctive looking cars of its day. Its slanting grille pieces and wide rear flanks really make a statement. Mix it with the color combinations of this car and you've got a fantastic looking Mopar that will take you anywhere. And you will have the only one like it at your next car show.
